This Cookie Policy explains how DataNova Consulting FZCO (DataNova, we, our or us) uses cookies and similar technologies on the DataNova marketing website. Read it with our Privacy Policy. Other services you open, including Microsoft sign-in and Stripe checkout, have their own notices and necessary storage. This notice does not replace those providers' policies or the separate Nova website's notice.
Optional analytics and advertising measurement are off until you choose to allow them. You can reject both, accept both or select them separately. Reading the site, scrolling or closing settings does not grant consent. Refusing optional tracking does not prevent you from browsing, requesting a demo or using the signup route.
Use Cookie settings on the marketing website to review or withdraw your choice at any time. We remember a choice for up to 180 days, unless you clear the cookie or we change the notice version. Removing optional permissions reloads the page to stop tools already loaded. Unsaved form details may be lost.
The first-party cookie dn_consent_v1 remembers whether you decided, your analytics and advertising choices, the notice version, timestamps and a random receipt identifier. It lasts up to 180 days. It contains no name or email address. The receipt is stored in your browser, not in a separate central consent database. Cookie settings shows your saved receipt and choice time.
The temporary local-storage signal dn_consent_signal tells other open DataNova tabs that your choice changed. It is removed immediately after that notification. Necessary account, authentication and session storage is used when you request those functions. Existing website form security may use Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent abuse. These security and service functions are separate from optional advertising measurement.
Google Analytics measures page use, sessions and interactions so we can improve the website. It can receive page and device information, online identifiers and network information. Its _ga and _ga_* cookies have a provider default of two years, subject to browser limits and provider settings. See Google's cookie documentation and Google's Privacy Policy.
With your analytics permission, we also measure accepted enquiries and confirmed DataNova account access. A temporary first-party session-storage item, dn_ga4_signup_v1, remembers your selected plan, billing interval, signup method and a timestamp in the current browser tab. It can be used for signup completion only within 24 hours. Session storage ends when the tab closes; we also remove this item when the completion event is queued or you withdraw analytics permission. It contains no name, email address, password, sign-in token or DataNova account or tenant identifier.
Account-access measurement runs on the signup completion screen after sign-in tokens have been removed from its URL and the DataNova API confirms active access. The success event includes a fixed completion path, a random event identifier, signup method, plan tier, billing interval and whether access is a trial, free plan or subscription. It does not establish that a payment was made or that a workspace is healthy. We do not send contact fields, credentials or DataNova account or tenant identifiers in these success events. Optional measurement remains off when analytics permission is rejected.
Microsoft Clarity helps us understand navigation, clicks, scrolling and usability through heatmaps and session replay. Form inputs are masked, and DataNova also marks its public enquiry and newsletter areas for masking. Clarity can use _clck and _clsk to associate interactions with a visitor or session. Microsoft may also use identifiers on its own domains, such as CLID and MUID, subject to consent and browser restrictions. See Microsoft's Clarity cookie list, Clarity retention information and Privacy Statement.
Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising measure visits and accepted enquiries from advertising. They can receive page and device information, online identifiers, click references and network information. Google may use _gcl_* cookies. Microsoft UET may use _uetvid, _uetsid and _uetmsclkid and identifiers on Microsoft domains. Their duration depends on the identifier, provider settings and browser limits. Read Google's advertising cookie information and Microsoft's UET documentation. Microsoft's UET documentation states a 390-day retention period for collected UET data.
OpenAI advertising measurement uses an image request for an accepted enquiry, with an event identifier and, where available, an advertising click reference. The reference may be held in the session-storage key dn_openai_click_reference_v1 for the browser tab session. We do not load the OpenAI JavaScript pixel SDK or enable advanced matching in this implementation. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
Our accepted-enquiry conversion events do not include your enquiry text, name, email address, phone number or company field. Providers still receive network information such as an IP address when a permitted request reaches them. Do not put personal or confidential information into page URLs. These website conversion events are measurement signals, not a transfer of your enquiry record.
The current Google consent setting keeps advertising personalisation denied. The marketing website does not load the retired LinkedIn, Meta or Leadsy tracking scripts. We do not sell personal data.
Withdrawing a category clears accessible first-party tracking cookies associated with that category and stops future optional loading after the page reloads. It cannot erase information already received by providers or remove their third-party or HttpOnly cookies. Your browser can show the actual cookies and expiry dates present on your device and lets you clear or block them. Provider updates and browser rules can change the identifiers available.
Rejecting optional tracking leaves essential security and sign-in storage intact. If your browser blocks the consent cookie, your choice applies to the current page but may not be remembered. You may be asked again on a later visit.
We review this notice when the tools or purposes change. The latest version is published here. For questions, withdrawal requests relating to information already received, or other privacy rights, contact privacy@datanovalabs.com.
